Wakeboarding can be extremely enjoyable. But the learning curve can also be painful! Everyone wants to strap a board on and start jumping the wake. If you’ve been behind the boat then you know exactly what we are talking about.
Now you can take your game to the next level with some one-on-one instruction. Wakeboard lessons are a great way to get quality instruction and improve your riding. Team rider Guenther Oka is available for private wakeboard lessons – both half day and full day sessions are available.
Intro from Guenther
Whether this is your first year on the water or you’re on your way to becoming a seasoned veteran, my goal is to help you excel your wakeboard and boating skills to the max! Come spend a day with me on the boat to land that new trick you’ve been thinking about all winter.
Just as I was learning to walk, my dad put me onto a pair of waterskis and eventually a wakeboard. At the young age of 17 I started to dedicate my life to become one of the top athletes in wakeboarding and now I’m here to pass on that knowledge to you! As of 2016 I have earned a World Title, National title, Wake Award, and I have over 10 years of wakeboarding experience. I’ve picked up the sponsorships of Liquid Force Wakeboards and O’Neill outerwear with my recent accomplishments. I have been fortunate enough to spend my last two winters in Orlando, Florida sharpening my wakeboard skills and training with the likes of Darin Shapiro (Wakeboard icon and many time world champion), Mike Dowdy (Masters Champion and past Trick of the Year recipient), and Meagan Ethell (Current Women National and World Champion). On top of this, I coach at WakeNation Cincinnati during the summer and teach kids and adults of all ages how to get up and ride a wakeboard. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of proper technique and how to break down tricks into easy-to-comprehend statements where we can build a proper foundation before moving onto more advanced skills. It has been a goal of mine to come back to the Midwest and pass off these skills so that we can see more great athletes come from this region. Whether you are just learning how to get up or you’re working on your first Crow Mobe 540, this is a perfect opportunity for you to excel your wakeboarding skills and have a great time while doing so.
In addition to coaching, knowing how to use your boat is also a very important aspect of being on the water. For the past 5 years I have been involved with Cincinnati MasterCraft and all their products. With my experience on and off the boat, I can assure you will be using your boat to its full potential.
