It all started in 2008. We set out with the dream of creating a dealership that was different. This dream was simple – create a dealership where service was absolutely incredible and the ownership experience after the sale was unlike anything else one would experience. We started small. In fact, we laugh to this day when customers come by and talk about how we started in that small shared industrial space back in 2008. We had one boat in stock and sold our first 5 boats off of a brochure and pictures alone.
It has been an amazing 8 years since starting in 2008. We’ve grown from 2 full time employees to 10 between two locations. We went from a handful of customers the first year to proudly servicing hundreds of water enthusiasts today – all of which we are proud to call friends. It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t fast. But we built our business on service and taking care of our customers.
From day one we knew that the experience we wanted to provide was divided into two main pillars. Half of this experience we could control: our service, the relationship with our customers, the after sale support, and the hassle free sales experience. The other half was the facility we used to deliver this experience. We didn’t have a bank loan, we didn’t inherit an old family business and we didn’t have a financial backer. We focused on the things that we could control – and stayed conservative so that one day we could deliver on the other half.
It’s been 8 years of staying the course. But it is with great excitement that we can officially announce that the next big step in our story has begun. This past fall we purchased approximately 10 acres just off I-75 in Richwood, KY and have started construction on a world-class facility. This will take what we are able to provide to our customers to a whole other level.
Over the next few months we will begin to share the progress as it unfolds. This is the next step in our story. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our customers. We would not be where we are today without your support. This is big… this is really big.
