MasterBash 2012 took place on Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th at Norris Lake. We had a huge turnout this year with over 180 people attending. While most of the attendees made the trip from the greater Cincinnati area we had people travel from as far as Michigan to join in on the festivities.
After registration on Friday everyone started the trek across Norris Lake to grab playing cards for the poker run. Despite the weather not cooperating we still had great participation. Most people took shelter at a dock and just made the most of it. By 6:00pm everyone made their way to Shanghai to try their luck toward the 30 different prizes. Everything from surf boards, wake skates, towels, hats, vests, and gift cards were fair game to those with the top poker hands.
On Saturday we formed a huge floatilla in Moon Rock Cove starting around 1:00pm. Over 30 boats rafted up and everyone got a chance to hang out and meet fellow MasterCraft enthusiasts. DJ Davey C set the vibe all day by spinning a mix of classic rock, house, and modern hip-hop music that appealed to all music tastes while being family-friendly. The 2013 X-Star and X-30 even made an appearance so everyone could check out what is in store for 2013. Around 6:00pm everyone made their way to Sequoya to wrap up the day with a catered rib dinner.
MasterBash is a weekend that gives us an opportunity to thank our customers for a great year. We hope everyone in attendance enjoyed the weekend and we look forward to MasterBash 2013. Mark the calendars – MasterBash 2013 will be held on August 2nd and 3rd, 2013 at Norris Lake.
